Details: Ephanol was the drug Adam Kane reluctantly used to temporarily slow down Danielle Hartman's genetic deterioration. Rarely used because of its harmful, unpredictable (and sometimes euphoric) side effects, the ephanol temporarily clouded Danielle's judgement, leading her to believe she was well enough to leave the laboratory.
