This movie is based on the true story of the only homicide committed on the famous San Francisco Military Base. My character is Corporal Tara Jeffries. She gets swept up in the murder investigation, and gets a little nooky on the side. Good times.
I had so much fun filming this one. We shot up on Vancouver Island, in the beautiful city of Victoria. (still loving my Victoria travel mug). The cast and crew was so amazing. On the first weekend, we all got together at the house the ADs rented, and had a huge barbecue. Lou showed his Texas roots, by pounding and marinating some big ol' steaks and commandeering the BBQ. Mmm Mmm! Lots of cocktails and a live band. Canadians sure know how to have a good time!
Beware, I'm sporting a brunette "do" for this one. I hardly recognize myself!
Hush (Lifetime Network)
Air date: Watch it on Lifetime on June 3rd @ 11:00 pm, June 9th @ 7:00 and June 12th @ 7:00 pm.
Director: Harvey Kahn
Starring: Tori Spelling, Tahmoh Penikett
This was perhaps my most favorite role to date. I got to play the role of "Callie", a small town girl who should have left. When her first love moves back to town with his new wife, she loses it, slowly but surely.
Comedy Hell (independent)
Air Date: To be determined
Director: Scott LaRose
Starring: Eric Roberts, Marty Rackham, Owen Smith, Brian Dunkleman, Rick Overton
This is a comedy meets horror (hence the name) movie. It was a hoot working with so many talented comedians. We shot this movie up in the Angeles National Forest last summer during the huge forest fires. We had the worst luck, losing locations and road access. But...good things happen to those who don't freak out. We finally got it done!
The whole movie was shot at night. What an experience! I would get in my car at 7:00 pm, pic up a BIG Starbucks, drive 1 1/2 hours up into the forest, and work through the night. When the sun would come up, everyone would pile into their cars and drive another 1 1/2 hours home. I can't wait to see the finished product.
House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim (Lions Gate)
Air date: to be determined
Director: Michael Hurst
Starring: Emmanuelle Vaugier, Ed Quinn, Sticky Fingaz, James Parks
This is a whole new cast and production team. The only carry over from the 1st movie, is the source of the infection. When an outbreak occurs in the lab of a university, the military is sent in to control the outbreak. The effects are unreal!!!! So creepy! It won't be out for a while, but I'll keep you posted.
