Details: As one of the four Genomex researchers involved in Project Nine, the technician Dr. Beatrice Lang engineered the neural implant to place in Lexa Pierce's brain which would allow someone to remotely control her central nervous system and her actions. Years later, when one of the other doctors, Dr. John Gonsalves, re-activated the implant and sent Lexa to murder her one night in her apartment.
