Autobiography from Lauren's former official site
I was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1980. I am the stepdaughter of a documentary filmmaker and as a consequence, I became well acquainted with a public lifestyle at a young age. It was my exposure to filmmaking that ignited my desire to act. I traveled the world with my family as a child. When I was 14, my stepfather moved the family to Los Angeles, California. There I was approached by a fashion scout and quickly began a professional modeling career. At 19 I went back to Vancouver after several international fashion shoots. In August 1999 I signed with an agent. Shortly thereafter, I was cast for my first professional acting job-a featured role in "Get Carter" starring Sylvester Stallone. Since then I have appeared on shows such as MTV's boy band parody "2Gether" and James Cameron's new series "Dark Angel" for FOX. In 2000 I was busy shooting the three part mini-series "Christy" in which I play the lead charactor. I am pleased with the final products and I am sure those who enjoyed the first film will love the final conclusion!

"hey mister!!! it's been sooooo long since i have replied to you!!(sorry) but things will be slowing down for me a little bit now until january!!! so it will be nice to just hang out with the family and friends for awhile! how are you doing? anything new and exciting??? and hey have you ever gotten the pics that i sent you?? i've tried twice now!!I've been reading the posts lately, and there seems to be some mixed reviews about the movie i did ( Lie With Me) i just hope people understand it was a choice i made, because it is a movie i truly and strongly believe in ( not some cheap way to get recognized ) it was a HUGE challenge emotioanally and physically, but it is a very beautiful movie, and i'm very proud of it!!! and those are the kind of roles that i would very much like to do more of.. the ones that challenge me, and push me, and make me have to be someone else completely... so that's my little rant about that!! hehehehe!!! and today i finished the final episode of the L-words second season, so like i said it time for a little break! but let me know what's going on with you and how your doing!!

Like the Halloween party that we had last year where we all dressed up and went bowling. Like you know those are just things that you'll never forget 'cause we had so much fun.
And I remember Lauren was trying to quit smoking at the time and we'd been shopping all day for our costumes and we ended up making them and we looked really ridicolous and you know, we'd had a couple of coctails *laughter*
The bowling alley and I look around and Lauren's gone like where's Lauren? Where's my buddy?
I see her coming in from outside and I thought 'she's beens moking' So I went over and I just grabbed her by the face and went 'mwah', I gave her a big kiss right on the mouth and she's like *looks surprised* I said "have you been smoking?" She goes "No" I'm like "Hm, I didn't think so." *laughter*
Don't ever try to quit smoking around me or you'll be kissed more often than you wanna be.
